Pros: Very small size but very big capacity. Great sound. Great price.
Cons: Non-replacable battery; specialized cables
The Bottom Line: In my opinion, it's absolutely the best mp3 player out there with small size, great sound and great price.
Review: After having my Archos 20 Gig Jukebox stolen, I was in desperate need to replace it with a new mp3 player. I absolutely loved the Archos Jukebox - the size was ideal (although thicker than the iPod), using the controls were easy and using it as a hard ...

Pros: Sound quality. Ultra small. 20 GB. USB port. Drag/drop any file. CF reader. Microphone.
Cons: Almost non... though sometimes buttons mix up their jobs..
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for a ultra small portable hard drive, mp3/wma player, CF card reader, microphone, good quality and affordable price, Gmini 220 is the answer.
Review: After months searching for something else than just a mp3 player I decided that the Gmini 220 was the most suitable for me in terms of features and price. For a relatively low price you get an external ultra small 20 Gb hard drive, which also plays ...

Pros: Excellent sound, file dump from CF I/II slot (brilliant!) Fast Data transfer, compact.
Cons: Few complaints for the money. No file transfer back to CF
The Bottom Line: Buy It! or wait for the new Gmini 400 - which should be similar but have colour screen, play video etc etc. Drool.
Review: I bought this because it combines media file playing capabilities with a good data store, with the advantage of a CF (I and II) slot to dump my camera files while on holiday. I have a Fuji FinePix M603 with a couple of Microdrives. I use the camera for ...

Pros: Great little hard drive, reliable.
Cons: I haven't detected any.
Review: I bought this to backup photos when I was on my honeymoon and subsequent vacations. It works great. I did upgrade the firmware and it all works as advertised on my Dell 8200desktop and HP laptop. I've used this unit since May. I plug this thing ...

Pros: great audio quality, supports multiple formats and bit-rates, decent battery life.
Cons: bulky adapters required to charge battery and record audio. sub-par navigation. line-in adapter loose.
The Bottom Line: Strong performer, although there are prettier and easier players out there. Good cost/benefit ratio.
Review: We purchased the Gmini 220 about 18 months ago to use in our church to capture our sermons. We were initially attracted to this recorder because of its line-in feature and large storage capacity. When we received the recorder, I was a little surprised ...

Pros: PRICE!!!!!!!! features, size, Interface,
Cons: battery life, thumb pad vs newer technology scroll pads , NO CASE
The Bottom Line: After hours researching - there is no better 20 GB player out there at $150
Review: I purchased this unit for $149 after rebate and am very happy with it. 18 gig of music downloaded in about 15 minutes. 2 minutes later musicmatch had everything sychronized and ready to rock. It works as an outstanding external hard drive and mp3 ...

Pros: Low price, high capacity, lots of features
Cons: Buggy, inelegant implementation - not recommended for average users.
The Bottom Line: Recommended for techno-savvy users who are comfortable tweaking software and settings. Lots of features for a low price. Not recommended for average users -it would be frustrating to use.
Review: I bought the Gmini 220 because it combined two devices: MP3 jukebox and photo wallet. Neither of these items on its own compelled me to buy one, but combine the functions into one unit and I jumped on it. A $50 mail in rebate made the price attractive ...

Pros: Compact. Easy to use for photo storage. Friendly technical support experience.
Cons: Cheap controls. Firmware was initially very buggy, but is getting better with each rev.
The Bottom Line: Assuming the corruption problems are really fixed, I would recommend this device for photo storage.
Review: Updated October 6, 2004! (See bottom of review...) === I purchased a GMini 220 from Buy.com on August 22, 2004. I bought the unit primarily to use for photo storage during an upcoming vacation. As a test, I took hundreds of pictures at a ...

Pros: When working it does all advertised features well. Good size, reasonable battery life, simple navigation
Cons: See review on power supply problem and poor warranty
The Bottom Line: buyer beware - works well when working but just hope it doesnt break
Review: Ive had my 220 for about 8 months now. About 2 months after i had the exact same intial problem as you. No charge and then one day it just died. I sent it back for warranty, but was asked by archos to go thru a local retail outlet (local to place of ...
